After a fantastic cup run the Wayside Wanderers progressed all the way to the Herald Cup Final, the first club 2nd team to ever have done so.
Played at Dacre Banks Bowling Club against a strong Black Swan team the Wanderers did themselves and the club proud despite losing out
With two winners in captain Lee Singleton and Ian Kennedy, things could have been very different with Martin Meechan battling to 20 and Adam Walker and Brad Walker both putting in strong fighting displays getting to 17 the Swan team were feeling the pressure for a while.
Supported by a variety of members from the club it was an excellent evening enjoyed by all.
This will be played against Black Swan on Friday 28th April at Dacre Banks Bowling Club with a 6:45pm start.
This will be a very special day with it being the first major final that the most of the team players have played in.
